To kick off our new 'Wayfinders' series featuring innovative not-for-profits, we'd like to introduce you to our friends at ONE DC.  Hailing from the famous Shaw Neighbourhood of Washington D.C. (Langston Hughs, Duke Ellington), ONE DC helps poor residents across the city to find good jobs, own their buildings, and to preserve their neighborhoods.

We encourage our readers to check the ONE DC web site, Twitter Feed, visit them on Facebook, and if so inclined Make a Donation!  The recent economic hardships have been very tough on community organizations - they need your help!
