Rob Porter

Rob Porter grew up in the rural region of Saugeen Country in mid-Western Ontario, and later migrated to Hamilton, Ontario for university. He has worked on web sites since 1997, both as a freelance web designer for numerous social-profit and arts organizations and as an in-house 'webmaster' for various departments of McMaster University.

Rob attended McMaster for two separate undergraduate degrees, encompassing Music, Theatre & Film Studies, and Peace Studies (with a minor in Indigenous Studies) while teaching East-Coast Jive Swing Dance for the university's Athletics Department. He is also a regional coordinator for Canadian Centres for Teaching Peace, and also has interests in nature, geology, environmentalism, politics, online gaming, and writing.
