There are many radio shows and podcasts we follow to keep an eye on trends in technology, culture, science, and ecology. Recently, one of our favourites "The Age of Persuation" with Terry O'Reilly covered the world of green marketing.

In a 26 minute episode "It's Not Easy Being Green: Green Marketing", Terry surveys the history of green marketing: from the ground-breaking book "Silent Spring" through the greening of consumer products, and the later emergence of greenwashing. If you've ever listened to The Age of Persuasion, you'll know that the shows creators do an excellent job of making the history of advertising exciting and engaging. If it's your first time, be sure to set aside the whole half hour, it's hard to hit 'pause' once you've started!

You can listen to it streaming through your browser, or find it on iTunes (free), or browse the CBC site visual appedices, YouTube videos and other listening options.

A Quote for your Consideration:

"What's missing most from business today?
Not sales. Not service. Not technology.
Answer: A point of view."
